Meet
the Staff
 |
Laury Stowe -
along with Ron and Dave founded Dive Adventures . He's been diving since
his teens and is now a PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer. He knows Bequia
waters very well. He was diving with his father, a local fisherman, all
around Bequia as a child. Laury is noted as a patient instructor,
helping new students over any anxieties they may have. His love of
diving is infectious and along with the rest of the staff, contributes
to the local youths appreciation of the sea and it's importance by
hosting training for student groups in the summer season. Laury is
married, and has two lovely daughters. His wife Joanna teaches school
and is active in promoting leadership among the high school students.

Ron Williams - also a founder of Dive Adventures, is a PADI Open Water Instructor. Ron is known for his excellent, comprehensive dive briefings and his mellow approach to diving and life in general. When the dive day is over he may be found next door at the Green Boley Restaurant filling in for his father behind the bar. Ron is married and has two precocious twin boys. Wife Delene works in the tourism industry, doing guided trips around Bequia for the various small cruise ships that call on Bequia. Baking is her first love and her cakes and baked goods are much sought after. |

Dave Stone - calls Redwing, Minnesota home for the warmer months of the year. Dave has 21 years as a PADI Instructor and holds a Master Instructor rating. Dave usually will be handling email enquires and setting up lodging reservations, as well as attending dive shows like DEMA to promote Bequia and Dive Adventures. Dave's the shop computer specialist as well. Dave's always quick with a joke and is a car racing/building enthusiast. Dave has been with Dive Adventures since its inception. Ron, Laury and Dave have been working together since 1993 both at Sunsports in Bequia prior to its sale, and at Bequia Dive Adventures. |
