Bequia Dive Adventures- scuba diving and accommodations in the Grenadines
GETTING HERE

Getting to Bequia has always been a part of its charm. No large cruise ships, jet airplanes, and certainly no highways connect Bequia with the rest of the world.  With a size of approximately 7 square miles and around 5,000 inhabitants, it's the ideal island getaway.

Transportation options are on small scheduled or charter aircraft, local ferries, and private or chartered yachts. Bequia, being just a bit off the beaten path, gives the traveler a chance to experience the "Original Caribbean", with its lack of crowds, casinos or high rises, and its friendly people and unspoiled natural beauty. It's likely you'll make many new friends, both local and from far off places, that share something in common; a love of nature and a love for Bequia.

PASSPORT AND VISA REQUIREMENTS

Except for nationals of Canada, and the UK all visitors must have valid passports. All visitors must have a return or ongoing ticket. Visas are not required.

AIR TRAVEL

Most air travelers arrive through one of our neighboring gateway islands. Departure tax for St. Vincent & Grenadines is $40 EC.

If your travel options require an overnight stay in Barbados we'd like to recommend Peach and Quiet, it's near the airport and the owners go that extra mile. Reserve early as they often fill up well in advance during high season.

If your travel plans take you through St. Vincent we recommend Chez Norris. They offer Bed & Breakfast, taxi, tours, and airport pick up and drop off. Contact them at gotalife@caribsurf.com or phone: 784-457-5237.

If your travel takes you through San Juan, Puerto Rico we recommend the Best Western Hotel for overnight stays. It is the only airport hotel and is located near the American Airlines terminal.
