It just keeps getting better and better! Despite brief infidelities in
Mauritius, the Maldives' Greece and Spain I keep coming back to Bequia Dive
Adventures! The earliest log book I can find is 1999 but I know I dived with
Laury, Ron and Dave in 96/97 and it is wonderful to meet the same people diving
with them year after year. This is the safest, friendliest dive operation I have
found and the selection of dive sites, most within a 10 - 15 minute boat ride is
majestic! Boulders simply can't be matched anywhere. The
outstanding features of Dive Adventure are the Small groups on each dive, the
absolutely personalized attention and, of course, the 'apres scuba' re-hydration
at the Green Boley. Roll on 2009!

I cannot say too much about what a wonderful time my 13-year-old daughter,
Eleanor, and I had with BDA. Laury Stowe is a gifted teacher and guided Eleanor
through her open-water certification with care, aplomb and a calming assurance
she responded to with wonderful enthusiasm. Her father, returning to diving
after many years, also felt reassured and that he was in good hands. And, of
course, the sites we visited were as advertised, full of the sea life and
color that reminded me why I took up diving many years ago. I guess the best
compliment I could give was what I said on our last day -- "See you next year."

I got my advanced open water over 6 yrs. ago w/ Ron and Laury when i was quite
young. i now work/teach at a dive shop in Washington state. Anyway just stumbled
onto this page and thought i'd say hi. You guys painted a great picture of how
fun diving can be. And ever since i have had a lot of fun in the water. Ron and
Laury keep up the good work, "and stuff like dat."

We dived (we're Brits - we don't say 'dove'!) with Dive Adventures over the New
Year. We had 6 dives and particularly enjoyed Boulders and Ship's Stern. The
latter included a trip across soft coral which was magical. Peter is an
experienced diver, Jocelyn much less so. But we found that the uncrowded boat
and the helpful guys with the ever reliable Ronaldo on board to help us out made
it a very relaxed and enjoyable experience. Thank you all!

My girlfriend and I recently dove with Bequia Dive Adventures in September 2005.
Our dive master Ron was great. He was patient with us during our first
post certification open water dives. The Boulders Dive site was amazing
with the amount of sea life and coral surrounding us upon entry. I would
highly recommend diving with Bequia Dive Adventures. Upon our return we
will dive with them again.
I would only make on suggestion. It would be nice if the dive masters had
a slate or a fish chart and communicate to us what kind of fish or critter we
were looking at. It would have been cool if we knew we were 10 feet from a
barracuda while under the water.

I dove for the first time in May 2005 with Ron and Laury, Bequia Dive
Adventures. I thought I would be too afraid to really go down, but Ron and
Laury did a fabulous job of easing my mind with their considerate approach and
very thorough and clear training. Plus I had my adenoids removed as a
child which made equalizing difficult, but Laury very patiently helped me get
down to the reef. And I made it. I could not believe the colors of
the coral. Way better than what I've seen just snorkeling. Now I am
hooked. I plan to visit Bequia again in May and part of my plan is to Dive
with Bequia Dive Adventures again. In the meantime I'm going to try diving
off Isla Mujeres Mexico this November. I feel so empowered after learning
from Ron and Laury. One day I hope to get certified when I have the time
and money. Thank you!!!

Just got back from our 12th annual trip to paradise (Bequia) and, as with all
the others, the Bequia Dive Adventure team helped make it quite memorable. Ron,
Laury, Dave and Renaldo (as well as Joanna, Delene, Lauriella, Dionte and
Omarion) form a real "family" at BDA which adds to the already fabulous diving.
The safe, friendly and considerate service provided by this group is
unparalleled anywhere in the Caribbean - and we've been to many other islands.
From ease of dive entry to post-dive care of equipment this is a first class
operation. Anyone who is anywhere near Bequia owes it to themselves to try
Bequia Dive Adventures to experience the best. Obviously we'll be back next
year!!!

Just wanted to thank you for another great week diving with Dive Adventures. We
appreciate the personal service and your willingness to meet our requests-like
Pigeon Island for our last dive. See you again. The Plante family

I was recently in Bequia (Nov 2004) and I went diving with dive adventures. The
dive groups were always small, the staff were friendly helpful and informative.
I hope to go back diving with them again next year and I would recommend them
to anybody. Thanks Guys ! Doug Young

We have just returned from an excellent diving holiday on Bequia. The main
reason why the holiday turned into a diving holiday was the outstandingly good
service we got at Dive Adventures. Christel dived for the first time in open
water with Laury and by the end of our holiday she qualified as an advanced
open water diver. Our dives, that included wreck, drift and night dives, were
safe, interesting and varied. We saw a variety of dive sites and both Laury and
Ron patiently pointed out a long list of fish and other underwater creatures.
We can both warmly recommend Bequia Dive Adventures to both beginners and more
experienced divers and we are both looking forward to returning to the
beautiful island and to the Dive Adventures shop.

My girlfriend and I just got back from 9 days in Bequia and we both had a
blast. We went snorkeling with Bequia Dive Adventures 3 times while down there,
and each time was wonderful. Our guide, Tedroy, was extremely nice, and pointed
out some really wonderful things underwater. Hope he's having a good time in
Trini right now. I think we had a lot more fun with him than we would have if
we'd gone out with Dive Bequia. Next time we're in Bequia (hopefully Summer
'05), we're definitely going to go out with you guys again. Hopefully by then
we'll have PADI certifications. All the best.

I used to live in Bequia back when I was in grade 5. I went to school at Lower
Bay school. I also took diving lessons and it was a wonderful. Bequia is a
gorgeous island and i love it there. The people are wonderful. I will hopefully
return this December. Haven't been there in a while. I miss everyone and i miss
the island.

We spent the last two weeks of April on Bequia. This was our fifth visit to the
island and it just keeps getting better. Once again we dove with Dive
Adventures and Ron and Laury did not let us down. They took us to all the best
dive locations and showed us why the best diving can be found right there in
their little corner of the world. Bequia Dive Adventures continues to be very
professional and yet very personal. Both of us have dove at many places around
the world and with many different dive operations. As we've gotten older (and
wiser) we find that we enjoy the "personal touch" when it comes to diving. No
more "cattle boat" dive trips and no more "macho dive masters". Ron and Laury
(and Ted Roy, the boat guy) take care of all our needs, setup our gear before
the dive and clean and service our gear after the dive. This is why Bequia Dive
Adventures has has become our favorite. This is why we keep coming back to
Bequia.

I just returned from 3 weeks diving with Bequia Dive Adventures. This was my
7th year going to Bequia. These guys will provide a varied dive experience,
which to me means they take you to a variety of dive sites where the conditions
are good and will provide the most interesting experience. They are the only
dive shop on Bequia that provides this type of diving experience...I have real
life experience to make this comparison. The dive sites around Bequia are like
their back yard as they seem to know what weather conditions will bring out the
most interesting critters in any given site. Either that or they have trained
the rays, eels and sharks to come at their appointed times! I recommend Dive
Adventures as they are the most professional dive shop I've been diving with
and provide a safe time combined with an adventure each time you go out on the
boat. The fact that I see many of the same people, including myself, returning
each year to dive with this shop is a nice testament to this observation.

Congrats on the great web site guys!!! Very informative, better than the other
dive shops on Bequia. Keep up the good work!!

This is a really good site! Better than Dive Bequia's site!

Every year during the month of March I am overwhelmed with vivid memories of my
trip to Bequia 4 years ago. The amazing people, clear blue water... there are
not enough words to sum up how I think about Bequia. I loved this web site and
it's pictures, thank you. I hope to come back someday, soon.

We consider this to be the best dive shop in the Caribbean. We have dived here
for over 6 years. The staff is experienced, courteous, patient, and happy to
accommodate all your needs. The diving is superb, ranging from a spectacular
wall dive to various reefs which abound in all kinds of tropical fish, and
beautiful creatures including turtles, green morays, sharks, angel fish, and
spotted eagle rays. We cannot recommend this dive shop too highly. There is no
"cattle boat" diving, as they take a maximum of eight per dive, or take two
dive masters, so there is never a hurried or unescorted dive. We are spoiled!!

I visited Bequia for the eleventh year this February and have dived with these
guys for the last ten years. They are the best! Attentive, accommodating,
patient, and extremely competent. You won't find a better bunch to dive with.
They love diving and it shows. They'll help you find/see the good stuff and go
out of their way to make every dive memorable. We've seen seahorses, green &
hawksbill turtles, schools of spotted eagle rays, mating octopi, frogfish,
pelagic, sharks, and all the usual reef fishes in great numbers. If you're
into photography this is the place. We see many of the same divers year after
year, these guys must be doing something right! And Bequia is just the
greatest little island to visit. Check out the Blues Festival for a jammin'
good time or take a day sail to one of the neighboring islands to enhance your
dive vacation. Friendly Bequians, a great dive shop, & lots of options, just
make this the perfect Caribbean island!

Bequia Experience:- Don't dive the Caribbean without a visit to "BEQUIA" in
the Grenadines. We have dived many islands from Tobago to the Dominion
Republic but none so unspoiled as the dive sites around "BEQUIA". Excellent
wall diving experiences with beautiful color formations of hard and soft
corals. An abundance of reef fish with Spiny Puffers, Queen Angel and gliding
Eagle Rays.
Other sites consist of huge rock formations that shelter large
Rays, Reef and Nurse Sharks, Turtles and Octopus. Want to see a FROGFISH? try
Middle Quay a very exhilarating dive. The most memorable times for me (next time
will be my 5th visit) is that you never know what to expect, a different
"Adventure" every time in safe company and strict " no touch " disciplines.
After the day is done, experience the excellent Island cuisine at twenty or so
top class restaurants.
Altogether an " Adventure " that should not be missed.
Braddies.
